Someone from the LookBooker team background checks and vets every one of the salons that is listed on the platform, so you can rest assured that the salons, spas and barbershops you see are reviewed by us. That said, we try and make sure that there something for everyone - so whether you’re looking for a low-priced on-the-run manicure, or a full-service no-expenses-spared pampering for your birthday, we’ve got you covered!

Currently LookBooker appointments can be made via the iOS app available in the App Store or the Android app available in the Google Play Store. Bookings cannot currently be made through the website. If you are unable to book please get in touch on email@example.com and we'll be happy to help out!
How LookBooker works
24 hours a day 7 days a week. No more waiting for salon opening times!
Yes. All LookBooker appointments are confirmed instantly – no waiting around for the salon to call or email you back to you to lock in a time. You will receive immediate on-screen confirmation of your booking, along with a confirmation email/SMS containing all appointment and salon details.
The salon will have details of your appointment on hand, but please take your phone so you can checkout and pay after your appointment
Yes! When you are making your appointment just tick as many services as you want from the service menu

Absolutely! Just navigate to the 'My Appointments' screen by tapping the calendar icon in your app and select 'Add Services' to upsize your appointment
Just when you thought getting pampered couldn't get any better, we introduced LookBooker Loyalty Points! Every dollar you spend and every referral you make on the LookBooker app will earn you Loyalty Points that can then be redeemed for LookBooker credit. LookBooker is the only loyalty points system that goes across all of your beauty services - so you can earn points when you get your nails done, your hair did, and your makeup made (and more!) all in one place... then cash those points in for even more pampering!
Appointment cancellations and changes
You can cancel or reschedule for no charge up until the cancellation window set by the salon. In most instances this is 2 hours before your appointment, but in some circumstances may vary and you will be informed of this at the time you place your appointment. If you no-show for your appointment you will be charged a $25 fee because of the hassle caused to the salon. We hate doing this, so please if you need to cancel, do so on the LookBooker app.
You can easily reschedule or cancel an appointment in the My Appointments section of the LookBooker app - just login, tap the calendar icon at the bottom of the screen, and select the appointment you'd like to change.
Payment & Checkout
Not a thing! LookBooker is a free service for our users, and we’re happy to provide it to you!
Head to the My Appointments screen of the app (the calendar icon) and select your appointment. You’ll be able to swipe to checkout from there.
We take your credit card details when you book an appointment, but you don't have to pay until after you've received your services. After your appointment, please open your LookBooker app and you will be promoted to swipe to checkout. You can confirm the final price, and additions or adjustments, your tip amount, and swipe again to finalize.
No problem, just add the additional amount in the “Additions and Adjustments” section of the checkout screen on your app.
Yes. That said, some of our salons and spas do request cash tips. We’ll flag these to you in your appointment notes and please and you can select the ‘Cash’ tip option when you pay for the rest of your appointment on the app.
Unlike many websites, we only let people who have visited the salon and booked through LookBooker leave reviews on our site, which means the reviews are always authentic, informative, and from people just like you. We don’t edit or modify submitted reviews. It’s our version of quality assurance and making sure every comment can be trusted!
Once you’ve booked with LookBooker and attended your salon appointment, we will automatically email you a review request. You can also review an appointment directly from the My Appointments section of your LookBooker app.
Yes. We prefer constructive feedback, but will still publish negative reviews and ratings to ensure the true consumer experience is always reflected.
LookBooker has a commitment to giving our customers a positive experience. If a business falls below our high quality assurance bar we will work with them to improve their performance and then may take steps to remove them from the LookBooker community
Reviews are checked prior to being uploaded to LookBooker to ensure they do not contain offensive language of inappropriate content. Your review might not have appeared yet if it’s still going through this process or we have deemed it unsuitable for publication.

We understand that every salon is different, to help set up LookBooker for your salon, a LookBooker representative will spend time with you and your team to customise your salon profile and service offering and guide you through the setup process. This includes everything from services offered, price range, staff member details, opening hours and more.
If your salon is full at the requested time, LookBooker will offer the client alternative times and days.
Yes. The Online Appointment Calendar allows you to block out times or days where you don’t want to allow customers to book. Alternatively, if you maintain a calendar with one of our integrated software partners (Booker, MINDBODY, Google) your LookBooker calendar will reflect the times blocked off in your calendar system.
Yes. Unlike other “online” booking systems, LookBooker doesn’t send salons more email enquiries or telephone hassle – booking made through us are 100% confirmed on both the consumer and salon end. Consumers live in an instant world and don’t want to wait around for a confirmation; if they have to, they’ll go somewhere else. We provide consumers the convenience of being able to make appointments when it suits them, and saves you from having to take phone calls during peak service periods, or after hours!
Yes! LookBooker caters to all types of salons and spas. All you need to participate is an internet connection or mobile phone. A LookBooker representative will help work with you to setup your account in the way that best works for your business.
We currently integrate with Booker, MINDBODY, and Google Calendar software systems. If you maintain your availabilities calendar via any of these systems we will be able to read your availabilities in real time and send you clients in your quiet periods. We're adding new integrations so check with us if your system is covered, or if you're considering switching software systems we're happy to help advise!
Appointment cancellations and changes
LookBooker sends automated appointment reminders (via email and SMS) to customers to remind them of their appointment with your salon. Experience in other industries has shown that reminder notifications significantly reduce no-show rates; they also mean that your staff members don’t need to spend their time calling customers to remind them of appointments, LookBooker takes care of this for you!
Yes. A verified credit card is required to place an appointment with LookBooker. In the rare instance that a client no-shows for an appointment they will be charged a $25 no-show fee. Thanks to our reminder notification system, this happens in less that 1% of appointments!
Pricing for salon partners
No. We understand that most of our partners are smaller salons, spas, and babershops who aren’t part of a large chain, and we want to partner with your business in a way that is sustainable and helps both of us grow. No. While it is possible to run promotions and special deals on LookBooker, this is not required and the vast majority of our services are listed at full price.
LookBooker only allows real clients who have booked through us and attended an appointment to leave a review. By allowing only real clients to leave reviews, and leaving these reviews unedited, we ensure our reviews are the most informative and genuine in the market.
Businesses can receive negative reviews from time to time… whether on the LookBooker site or elsewhere. We suggest the following ways to deal with a negative review:
- Take the feedback on board. There’s usually some cause to a negative review, and you should view being able to capture this information from your clients as a great way to improve your service offering and consumer experience.
- Contact the client directly to resolve the differences.
- Encourage other reviews. Help give other clients a well rounded view of your business by reminding other clients who have booked via LookBooker about the opportunity to provide feedback.
- LookBooker filters our reviews for inexplicit and offensive language. Please contact our team if you come across any reviews that have not been correctly identified by our filter.
Reviews provide important transparency between your business and your clients – they help clients make informed decisions and paint a more detailed picture of your business.
